There are a few reasons why figures are removed from the Norwegian Rueda Standard.
Some figures are not in use anymore due to lack of interrest or they were too difficult to dance well. Others were never really were accepted, and kept on having different ways og being danced in different cities.
Some commands have been removed from the main list, but are now placed in other sections of the Rueda standard, like the vocabulary or combinations.
